I fell in love with photography on a trip to California when I was twelve.  I had my Kodak Pocket Instamatic camera with me and took photos everywhere we went.  My mother was appalled after she paid to develop them and found I had taken three rolls alone during the Shamu Show at Sea World.  I was hooked!

I took photography classes in high school and became the photo editor for our school newspaper my senior year.  This was when photography really became a passion for me.  I loved working in the darkroom, waiting patiently to see the images I had taken come to life.  I loved being on the sideline during football games, taking pictures of the players and the great feeling when I knew I’d gotten the perfect shot.  My parents gave me my first expensive camera for graduation and I still consider it one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received.

Since then, I’ve always been the one with the camera.  I am embarrassed to say that I have boxes of pictures that have never made it into albums.  Pictures of weddings, birthdays, holidays…oh, did I mention my children?  They have both had a camera in their face since birth.

Plain and simple, I love taking pictures!

I love being a part of those wonderful events in my clients’ lives.  Whether it is a wedding with all of your family and closest friends, a birthday party celebrating your dad’s 70th birthday or a family session with your three kids and crazy dog, I love capturing your special memories and then giving them back to you to cherish for a lifetime.

I try to keep things fun and lighthearted while making sure I tell your story with emotion, laughter and love.

I’d love to meet you and talk about your special occasion.
